Although in recent years guidelines have been proposed for SBRT of spine and non-spine metastases, little is known about the usage of bone SBRT and the actual patterns-of-care in German-speaking countries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Project status:<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Data collection completed<\/li>\n<li>manuscript currently under review<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Major findings and results:<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>35 % (75\/211) of registered ROs completed the online survey.<\/li>\n<li>ROs working in high-volume centers irradiating more than 100 patients with bone metastases annually represented the largest group with 58.7 %.<\/li>\n<li>Ablative SBRT was mostly performed for bone oligometastases (78.7 %).<\/li>\n<li>For symptom-directed palliative radiotherapy of bone metastases, the majority of responding physicians (84.3\u00a0%) still mostly recommended moderately hypofractionated treatment. Nevertheless, 60.9\u00a0% of participating ROs stated to use bone SBRT at least occasionally also for palliative purposes such as pain control.<\/li>\n<li>Survey also revealed a certain reluctance for the concomitant use of systemic therapies with bone SBRT and a heterogeneity regarding target volume definition and dosing for bone SBRT.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>Stereotactic radiotherapy for bone metastases: a multicentre analysis<\/h1>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Study PI:<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Dr. med.
